Our trees grow here: on terraces among the hills of Tuscany.

Our story

From the twig to the bottle

This olive oil has no middlemen. The trees are ours, we pick the olives ourselves and watch them become oil.

Olive trees in the sun on a green slope

It begins in the grove

Our trees grow on terraces on the Tuscan hills, in full sun and mountain air. In winter we prune the branches so that the tree can breathe and bear fruit well.

Burning pruned branches in the grove

Winter in the grove

A time for unhurried work: pruning, tidying, a fire of pruned branches. The tree rests while we prepare it for the next season.

Picking olives from a tree, from a ladder

Picking in autumn

We pick the olives by hand, from a ladder and from the ground, and spread nets under the trees. We pick several varieties of olives, which gives our oil its unique flavour. The fresher the fruit, the better the oil.

A crate of freshly picked olives

Straight into crates

The harvested fruit goes into airy crates, where it is not bruised or heated. The different olive varieties then come together in one oil with a deep, complex flavour.

Wooden sieve for olives in the grove

First, the sieve

Still in the grove, the olives pass through a wooden sieve that separates leaves and twigs. Only the fruit goes to the mill.

A green-gold stream that smells of freshness, grass and olive leaf.

At the mill

The olives are washed and separated from the leaves, ground into a paste and gently mixed. Finally a centrifuge separates the oil from water and pomace. Everything is cold, with no heating, to preserve aroma and freshness.

To the bottle, and then to you

Only oil from our own trees goes into the bottle, nothing else. Then it travels to Poland, straight to your table. This is how Aramo Verde is made.

Organic apiary

Honey from an organic apiary in Basilicata

Apicoltura Pirretti is a family apiary in Policoro, on the Ionian Sea. The Pirretti family works in a region that has largely remained untouched, and makes sure the bees produce honey in harmony with nature.

Since 2021 the honey has been extracted, stored and bottled in a workshop powered 100% by solar energy from its own photovoltaic installation. We buy it from our friends and sell it in their jars, with their labels.

Pirretti honey has won the “Gocce d’oro” award several times at the “Grandi Mieli d’Italia” competition.
